Strong of Maryland is headquartered in Woodbine Maryland on a 13 acre campus. Our parent company is Modern Foundations, Inc. which has had a long history of serving commercial and residential clients with their concrete foundation needs since 1981. In addition our affiliate companies Stone Shooters (our aggregate placement company) and MFI Concrete (ready mix batch plant) compliment and support us greatly in the services and products we provide
Our precast facility is adjacent to our ready mix operation where we cast Stone Strong Gravity Wall System Blocks. This allows us to maintain tight tolerances on our mixes for the consistency of our Stone Strong Block product.
Stone Strong is the largest conventionally available block on the market. It is 4 times larger than the competition. Stone Strong has earned a solid reputation for technical innovation, and unmatched product quality. Our system has undergone rigorous review by the Highway Innovative Technology Evaluation Center (HITEC) which is a group under the Federal Highway administration to verify conformance with AASHTO standards and specifications. The system design, methodologies, and testing conform with the relevant standards of AASHTO, NCMA, and ASTM. Stone Strong is also backed by technical and engineering support to provide a complete engineered solution for your project.
